Best news I've heard in a while

Wendy Shalit is back in the game -- I've seen two articles by her just this week, and apparently she's also working on her second book. Of all the writers our society should be listening to, she's up at the top of the list. (See also her brilliant first book.)

I decided it wasn't fair to hate Ghost Whisperer just because it took Joan of Arcadia's slot. So I took a look at it last night.

I think I need to stop writing about TV

Because every time I give a show a good review, it then heads straight for the crapper.

I haven't given up on the show yet, as there are still good things in it. But with clowns like this at the helm, it makes me wonder if even the good things will be around for much longer.

And we think we have problems
